Jabhat al-Nusra is gathering 1500 fighters preparing for Maharda battle

Hama province: SOHR was informed that no less than 1500 fighters from Jabhat al-Nusra grouped in Helfaya and around Maharda, preparing for a wide attack on the city of Maharda which is inhabited by Christians, to gain control on the city and advance in the western countryside of Hama.
clashes taking place between regime forces and Islamic battalions near Batish checkpoint south of Helfaya, amid aerial bombardment on the city, no reports of losses yet.

Islamic battalions targeted regime bastions in Maharda city and Sahab village which is inhabited by Alawite.

Islamic battalions also targeted al-Majdal checkpoint in the northern western countryside .
2 men were ambushed and killed by gunmen allied to regime forces near Aqrab village in the southern countryside of Hama.
clashes took place between regime forces against Jabhat al-Nusra, Jund al-Aqsa and Islamic battalions near Shar’aya village near Hama city, reports of advances for the regular forces as it took over bastions of the Islamic battalions.
