Horrible crime | Man burns his wife inside their house in Jirmana

Damascus province: A fight erupted between a man and his wife inside their house in Jirmana in Damascus, due to family disputes between them while preparing food, where the husband poured “gasoline” on his wife and set her on fire killing her immediately.

The Syrian Observatory has documented 287 murders in regime-controlled areas since early 2024, where domestic violence and armed robberies were behind some of these murders, while motives behind the others remained unknown. These murder crimes left 320 fatalities: 20 children, 61 women and 239 young and adult men. The fatalities are distributed regionally as follows:

Daraa: 89 murder crimes left 82 men, six children and 13 women dead.

Rif Dimashq: 50 murder crimes left 40 men, four children and 11 women dead.

Homs: 28 murder crimes left 25 men, a little girl and three women dead.

Al-Suwaidaa: 27 murder crimes left 20 men, two children and seven women dead.

Hama: 19 murder crimes left 13 men, eight women and three children dead.

Tartus: 13 murder crimes left 11 men, a child and a woman dead.

Deir Ezzor: 16 murder crimes left 14 men and six women dead.

Damascus: 12 murder crimes left three women and ten men dead.

Latakia: 12 murder crimes left nine men, three women and two children dead.

Aleppo: 16 murder crimes left 11 men, six women and a child dead.

Al-Hasakah: Two murder crimes left two men dead.

Al-Quneitra: Two murder crime left a man dead.

Al-Raqqa: One murder crime left a young man dead.
