Al-Hasakah | Assassination attempt targeted civil police official in Ras Al-Ain city

Al-Hasakah province: Unknown gunmen targeted with direct fire the house of an official in the Civil Police Counter-Terrorism Department in Al-Mahatah Al-Shimali neighbourhood in Ras Al-Ain city in Al-Hasakah countryside, within “Peace Spring” area, with the intention of assassinating him, without resulting in any causalities. The targeting was followed by a large-scale mobilization of civil police members, and the closure of the entrances and exits of the neighbourhood in an attempt to arrest the perpetrators of the attack.
It is noted that this is the second assassination attempt in two days targeting officials in Ras Al-Ain.
This comes in light of the security chaos in the areas held by the Turkish forces and their proxies.
On November 1, unidentified gunmen threw a hand grenade at the house of a commander of the Turkish-backed “Al-Sultan Murad” Faction aiming to assassinate him in Ras Al-Ain City in Al-Hasakah countryside within “Peace Spring”.
