Amid escalating tensions with Israel and Coalition’s Forces | Iranian-backed militias turn off lights in military headquarters

Deir Ezzor province: Deir Ezzor has witnessed noticeable movements by Iranian-backed militias.
SOHR sources have reported that many military headquarters in Deir Ezzor city, including the security square in Al-Qusour neighborhood, the Iranian Cultural Centre and recruitment centres affiliated with the Lebanese “Hezbollah,” have resorted to turning off lights during the evening hours in recent days. This measure comes as part of concerns about these sites being monitored and targeted by warplanes and drones, whether Israeli or belonging to International Coalition Forces.
Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that these locations host Syrian combatants under the supervision of third-tier leaders from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Meanwhile, security and precautionary measures were heavy, amid the ongoing Israeli escalation on Syrian territory and growing tension between Iranian-backed militias and International Coalition Forces.

On October 11, SOHR sources reported that a person was killed and four unidentified others were injured in an attack by an anonymous drone on a vehicle in the vicinity of the medical clinic in Mahkan Town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

According to reliable SOHR sources, Afghani and Iraqi members of the militias handed over the headquarters to Syrian members, after they informed them that they are joining in the war against Israel along with the Lebanese “Hezbollah”, which withdrew from headquarters in Syria.
