Dea*th toll update | Second officer of the regime forces in I*E*D explosion in Daraa

Daraa province: A second officer of the regime forces died affected by the wounds he sustained yesterday, after a military vehicle carrying a group of members was attacked by an IED explosion by unidentified gunmen near Al-Taira checkpoint in northern Daraa countryside, where a violent explosion was heard in the area between Al-Sanmin and Inkhil Cities, amid security deployment and closure of roads towards the site of attack.

Since early 2024, SOHR activists have documented 283 incidents of security disorder in Daraa province, which left 279 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 83 civilians, including eight women and 18 children.

• 86 regime soldiers, members and collaborators with regime security services.

• 18 men accused of “involving in drug business.”

• Five members of the Russian-backed 8th Brigade.

• 17 ISIS members, including a commander.

• 58 members of local factions.

• Nine persons collaborating with the Lebanese Hezbollah.

• A regime dissident colonel.

• Two unidentified persons.
