“Putin-Erdogan” area | Regime forces send military reinforcement to Aleppo countryside and regime soldier killed in Latakia countryside

A regime soldier was killed in artillery fire by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on military positions in the northern countryside of Latakia in the “de-escalation zone.”

 

Meanwhile, regime forces sent considerable military reinforcement to frontlines in Aleppo countryside, including heavy weapons, pickup vehicles with submachine guns installed over them and hundreds of soldiers.

 

This coincided with heavy deployment by HTS military troops on different frontlines.

 

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 322 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks by ground forces, infiltration operations, gunfire by snipers, bombardment, clashes and kamikaze drone attacks, which left 360 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 134 combatants, including a Turkish soldier, and 163 civilians, including seven women and 39 children, injured.

 

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

 

  • 37 civilians, including 14 children and four women.

 

  • 226 members of regime forces, including 26 officers.

 

  • 79 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

 

  • Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

 

  • Two members of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”

 

  • Two members of “Jaysh Al-Ahrar.”

 

  • Three jihadists, including a jihadist of Turkish descent.

 

  • A member of “Al-Hamzah” Division.

 

  • Three members of “Al-Sham Corps.”

 

  • One member of the “Public Resistance” which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room.

 

  • One member of the “Thowwar Al-Sham” Battalion which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room.
