Escalation in “Euphrates Shield” area | Members of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” assault convoy of Minister of Defence of the “Interim Government”

Aleppo province: Members of a military checkpoint of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” Faction assaulted convoy of vehicles of the Minister of Defence of the “Interim Government” and insulted him, in front of the headquarters of the ministry in Kafr Jenna within “Euphrates Shield” area.

On the same context, members of the “Joint Forces” sieged headquarters of “Suqour Al-Shamal” Faction in Hiwar Kalis Village near borders between Syria and Turkey, where headquarters of the “Joint Forces” exist.

In return, “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” Faction responded by cutting the road of Kafr Jenna and prevented the “Joint Forces” from passing checkpoints separating between “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive branch” areas.

Moreover, Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya brought armoured machineries and heavy weapons to outskirts of Hiwar Kalis Village to protect headquarters of Suqour Al-Shamal Faction that recently joint it, after rejecting the Turkish request to hand over weapons and dismantle the faction.
