For “dealing with former Autonomous Administration” | Pro-Turkey factions continue blackmailing civilians to collect ransoms

Aleppo province: Afrin area has witnessed escalating incidents of extortion, kidnappings and arrests by pro-Turkey factions under the pretext of “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration” with the aim of exerting pressure on civilians and force them to pay ransoms, increasing the sufferings of the region’s civilians who live under constant threat.

In this context, members of a patrol of the military police arrested, during the past few days, a civilian from Basoutah village in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside, 20 days after having been deported by Turkish authorities, for “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration” to collect ransoms.

Meanwhile, members of the pro-Turkey 112th Brigade, which operates under the banner of the “National Army,” arrested a civilian from Ba’danli in Rajo district for “going out on guard shifts during the control of the Autonomous Administration of Afrin” to collect ransoms.
