Shocking statistics | 1,034 civilians killed across Syria in seven months
Since early 2024, military operations and acts of violence have escalated dramatically in all zones of influence throughout Syria; let alone the explosions of war remnants and escalating crime rate, especially in regime-controlled areas.
In this context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 1,034 civilians, including 117 women and 163 children, in different areas across Syria in the past seven months.
This shocking statistic remains an unrefuted evidence of the endless sufferings of civilians in light of the ongoing war and escalating conflicts.
SOHR stresses on the importance of protecting civilians and keeping them away from conflicts and calls for protecting Syrian refugees from forcibly deportation from neighbouring countries.
