Handed over by H*T*S | Turkish Intelligence forces detainees to apologize for “burning Turkish flag”

Aleppo province: Turkish Intelligence and their factions forced detainees, who were arrested during latest events in northern Aleppo countryside, including child to film themselves with Turkish flag behind them and apologize to the Turkish government and people for “burning Turkish flag in protests in areas of Turkish forces in northern Aleppo countryside.”

Two people living in Idlib were among the detainees, where HTS handed them over to the Turkish Intelligence, after showing up in a video while they were burning the Turkish flag in Al-Jalaa Street in Idlib City, where one of them is accused of “working for HTS” but he denied this in a video previously.

One of the videos obtained by SOHR showed a child under pressure admitting to “burning the Turkish flag”, and apologized to the Turkish people and kissed the flag.

These videos were met with public discontent among residents of the Syrian north, considering this as attempt by Turkish Intelligence and their factions to humiliate Syrians opposing the Turkish presence in the Syrian north to please the Turkish “racists”.

These scenes brought to mind what the regime’s security services were doing to detainees at the beginning of the Syrian revolution, forcing them to appear and declare their remorse for participating in the peaceful demonstrations that came out against the regime.
