Despite its continuation for about 20 days with complete absence of Iranian militias | Combing campaign in Syrian desert fails to kill any “ISIS” member

ISIS kills 44 people in ten attacks in ten days

The combing campaign in which several military divisions of regime forces, led by Russia, participate in the Syrian desert areas, in search of “ISIS” cells, continues for the 19th consecutive day, where the 11th,18th and 25th divisions and Al-Quds Brigade participate in, with air support from Russian warplanes, searching for “ISIS” cells in the desert of Homs, Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqah, without being able to kill any member of “ISIS”, which has escalated its attacks remarkably in recent times.
Russian warplanes carry out airstrikes on a daily basis, targeting positions used by “ISIS” members to hide and carry out attacks in different areas of the Syrian desert, especially Homs Desert, coinciding with a ground campaign carried out by military forces, without making any progress at the expense of “ISIS” to date.
The Iranian militias widely deployed in the Syrian desert are absent from participating alongside the regime forces in the ongoing combing campaign.
In turn, “ISIS”, through its recent attacks, focuses on targeting regime forces in particular, avoiding attacking Iranian militias, as it has greatly escalated its attacks since the beginning of June, the last of which was on the 20th of this month, where a regime soldier was killed and five others sustained various injuries due to the explosion of an old landmine planted earlier by ISIS members in Ethraeiyah desert in Salameiyah countryside in eastern Hama.
