In two separate operations | Four “ISIS” members arrested in Al-Hasakah and Deir Ezzor

Within 24 hours, special units of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” and special units of SDF, carried out two security operations in the countryside of Al-Hasakah and Deir Ezzor, east of the Euphrates, targeting “ISIS” cells, in light of the increase in their activity in the region, coinciding with the approaching of the tenth anniversary of the declaration of “Al-Baghdadi’s” state.
In the first operation, special units of the internal security forces “Asayesh” raided houses in Al-Basirah city, east of Deir Ezzor, arrested two members of “ISIS” cells and were taken to a security centre.
In another operation, two “ISIS” members were arrested in a security operation carried out by special units of SDF, in Iskandarun village in Tel Hamis countryside, south of Al-Hasakah, and were taken to an unknown destination.
According to the information, the two members are accused of carrying out operations, bombings, killings and kidnappings in the region to undermine its security and stability. One of them is called Muhannad Mahjoub Al-Madloul, nicknamed “Abi Sham”, and the second is called Saad Mahjoub Al-Madloul, nicknamed “Abu Saddam”.
SDF continue security operations within areas they control, to pursue “ISIS” remnants.
On June 11, members of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” carried out a raid in Al-Saghir town in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, targeting a member of “ISIS” cells in the town, where he was arrested and a quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosive devices were seized from his possession.
