Affected by his injuries | Civilian dies due to the explosion of old landmine in western Manbij countryside

Aleppo province: A civilian died affected by the injury he sustained on April 23, due to the explosion of an old landmine in Tel Towreen village in western Manbij countryside in Aleppo countryside.
On April 23, SOHR sources reported that two siblings sustained various injuries due to the explosion of an old landmine near a tractor, while they were riding it in Tel Towreen village in western Manbij countryside within SDF-held areas.
The Injured civilians were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 99 civilians, including 21 women and 30 children, due to explosions of old landmines, unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2024. In addition, 107 civilians, including 13 women and 51 children, sustained various injuries.
The casualties are distributed regionally as follows:
Regime-controlled areas: 83 fatalities, including 21 women and 17 children, and 79 injured civilians, including 12 women and 29 children. Among this toll, 49 truffle pickers, including 19 women and a child, were killed and 28 others including nine women were injured.
SDF-held areas: 15 fatalities, including 13 children, and 23 others including 18 children and a woman injured.
HTS-held areas: Four injured children.
Areas where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed: A young man was injured.
Areas controlled by pro-Turkey factions in “Euphrates Shield”: a civilian was killed.
According to documentation from the Syrian Observatory that 68 civilians including 12 children and 19 women were killed, in addition to 54 civilians including ten women and 23 children were injured due to the explosion of landmines and IEDs of ISIS remnants in regime-held areas.
