For unknown reasons | Iranian militias vacate their military headquarters in “Iranian capital” in western Euphrates
Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources in Al-Mayadeen city “the capital” of Iranian militias in western Euphrates area, reported that Iranian militias have vacated their military headquarters in the city, east of Deir Ezzor, for unknown reasons, in addition to emptying their headquarters in Ain Ali on the outskirts of Al-Mayadeen. The eviction operations started after the destructive earthquake that hit Syrian land on February 6.
According to SOHR sources, the militias kept the guards of those headquarters, while there no information has been reported yet about the destination of the members and the leaders that left the headquarters.
SOHR noted yesterday, that groups of the Lebanese Hezbollah left several checkpoints in Deir Ezzor, after a security committee that consists of the head of the Military Security in Deir Ezzor and officers of the security office arrived at those checkpoints. Checkpoints of the National Defence and Military Security were deployed instead of forces of the Lebanese Hezbollah, which were stationed in Al-Mayadeen, Mahkan and Al-Qarya in Deir Ezzor countryside.
Members of the Military Security shut down “Al-Mahkan” crossing that connects areas under their control to SDF-held areas, where smuggled goods are passed through, after civilians and smugglers were expelled from the area.
