Military escalation | Turkish forces and their proxies shell two villages in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies fired heavy weapons in Qarmogh and Qoran villages within SDF-held areas in eastern Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) eastern of Aleppo. However, no casualties or extent of damage have been reported yet.

On November 11, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions shelled with heavy artillery the surrounding areas of the SDF-controlled village of Qarmouj in Ain Al-Arab countryside (Kobani).

On November 4, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces stationed inside Turkish territory shelled the Syrian villages of Kharbisan, Karmug, Karun and Jishan in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside, east of Aleppo.

This shelling coincided with the flight by Turkish reconnaissance aircraft over the area.
