Old ordnance | Landmine explosion kills child and injures his brother in Al-Hasakah

 

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a seven year-old child and the injury of his brother, due to the explosion of a landmine of war remnants near Tel Al-Tahrir town southern of Al-Hasakah, while they were shepherding in the area.

Accordingly, SOHR has documented the death of 75 civilians, including two women and 31 children, due to explosions of landmines and unexploded shells and bombs across Syria since early 2022. In addition, 88 civilians, including three women and 53 children, sustained various injuries in the same period.
