Ceasefire violations | Regime soldier killed and others injured in ongoing clashes and attacks on Idlib frontlines

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of a regime soldier after being shot by snipers of opposition factions on the frontline of Al-Barij village in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Meanwhile, rebels fired a guided missile on regime position on the frontline of Al-Dar Al-Kaberah in southern Idlib, leaving several regime soldiers and loyalists injured.

On the other hand, regime forces shelled the villages of Sfuhen, Al-Fatera, Kafr Oweid and other positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah. No casualties have been reported.

Observatory activists had documented the injury of two civilians and the death of about 15 sheep, as regime forces targeted, with a guided missile, a vehicle carrying them near Ghaniya village in the western countryside of Idlib province.

SOHR activists also monitored two Russian airstrikes targeting with vacuum missiles on positions of opposition factions on Kabana hills in Jabal al-Akrad, north of Latakia. The airstrikes coincided with rocket attacks by the “Al-Fateh al-Mubin” factions on the positions of regime forces stationed on Al-Malik hill in Jabal al-Akrad. Moreover, exchange of rocket fire took place between opposition factions and regime forces on frontlines of Jabal al-Zawiya in southern countryside of Idlib province.
