Aleppo | Turkish forces and their proxies shell Kurdish-controlled areas
Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired several artillery shells this evening, targeting the Kurdish-controlled areas of Tal Madiq and Sad Al-Shahbaa in rural Aleppo. No casualties have been reported.
On December 4, Observatory sources reported renewed clashes with machine guns between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on Maranaz frontline in north Aleppo countryside. No casualties were reported.
SOHR activists also documented the death of a displaced young man from Al-Raqqah city, after being hit with a bullet in the head when he was on the roof of his house near the Shaala frontline in al-Bab countryside in eastern Aleppo.
While on December 3, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that a Turkish officer was killed and three other soldiers were injured in an infiltration operation by Kurdish forces on Basufan and Kafr Khasher frontlines in the northern countryside of Aleppo in the early hours of Thursday morning. SOHR sources had reported earlier an infiltration attempt by Kurdish forces in the early hours of Thursday morning into positions of Turkish-backed factions in Kafr Khasher area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where clashes erupted between both sides.
