Deir Ezzor | IRGC hands out two sheep to families of killed local affiliates in Al-Mayadeen

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have told SOHR that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) handed out two sheep to wives and mothers of local members of the corps, who were killed earlier, in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor which is under the control of the IRGC, other Iranian-backed militias and some regime-backed formations.

 

On October 5, reliable sources informed SOHR that the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in Deir Ezzor province and eight officers of the regime’s “National Security” service made an inspection tour in institutions and military posts of the Iranian-backed local militias in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 

According to SOHR sources, the “National Security” service’s officers promised the local members, who were affiliated to the Iranian-backed militias and who defaulted the compulsory military service in regime army, not to be held accountable as they were serving in the ranks of the Iranian-backed militias instead.

 

While on October 2, Reliable sources in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor informed SOHR that Iranian militias seized a large number of civilian houses in the area between Al-Bel’oum roundabout and the industrial secondary school.
