Women police delegation visits Syrian refugee camps in Jordan

Abu Dhabi: A women police delegation has visited Syrian refugee camps in Jordan to review the services provided by the UAE Red Crescent Authority, in the fields of medical care and relief at the UAE camp in Jordan and the UAE Jordanian field hospital.

The UAE female police delegation headed by Major Amina Mohammad Khamees Al Balushi, head of the Assembly, was briefed on the campaign — Our thoughts are with the people of Syria — implemented by the UAE Red Crescent. The programme was organised by the UAE Red Crescent in December for the distribution of winter relief and humanitarian aid and treatment of refugees.
