Security chaos | Clashes erupt between football fans in Idlib leaving five civilians injured

Idlib province: Five people were injured severely due to the eruption of armed clashes between fans of Andan football club and Amia athletic club in Idlib City within HTS-held areas, and the injured people were taken to the hospital to receive proper medication.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 60 incidents of security disorder in areas controlled by HTS and opposition factions in Idlib city and surrounding villages. These incidents left 90 people dead and 70 others injured. The fatalities are distributed as follows;

* 41 civilians, including six children and eight women.

* A member of the Turkistan Islamic Party.

* Four HTS members.

* A member of Al-Sham Corps.

* Three unidentified persons.
