Deir Ezzor | IS*IS cells attack a civilian working for a reconciliation council

Deir Ezzor province: Gunmen of ISIS cells attacked the house of a civilian working for a reconciliation council in Abo Khashab Town in western Deir Ezzor countryside, aiming to kill him with machineguns, where the civilian was injured and the gunmen fled to a hospital to receive proper medication.

SOHR has documented 227 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks, executions and explosions targeting military and security forces, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2024. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 99 fatalities:

63 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.

12 ISIS members.

24 civilians, including a child, a witch and four guards of civil institutions.

These operations are distributed regionally as follows:

Deir Ezzor: 196 attacks left 46 combatants, 18 civilians, including a child and two women, and eight ISIS members dead.

Al-Hasakah: 16 attacks left ten combatants, four ISIS members and a civilian dead.

Al-Raqqah: 14 attacks left seven combatants and five civilians, including four guards of civil institutions of the Autonomous Administration, dead.

Aleppo: One operation left no fatalities.
