After rejection of handing over missing members | Regime and Self-Defence forces put on high alert in northern Al-Raqqah countryside

Al-Raqqah province: Positions of the “Self-Defence” forces and regime forces opposite “Peace Spring” areas in northern Al-Raqqah countryside, witnessed a state of high alert, after pro-Turkey factions had refused to hand over missing individuals from regime and “Self-Defence” forces, following their delivery of eight bodies (five of regime forces and three of the Self-Defence forces).
It is worth noting that the dead members were killed in an infiltration operation in Abdouki village in Al-Raqqah countryside.
According to reliable SOHR sources, pro-Turkey factions still hold four members, including three of the regime forces and a fourth of the Self-Defence forces.
Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a Russian patrol of two vehicles escorted by members of the Self-defence Forces headed from Sarin airbase to the frontline with “Peace Spring” area in Abdokoy village in Al-Raqqah countryside in order to retrieve the bodies of combatants of regime forces and Self-defence Forces, who were killed yesterday in an infiltration operation by the “National Army” in a village in Tel Abyad countryside.

According to SOHR sources, groups of factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” sneaked into positions of regime forces and Self-defence Forces in Abdokoy village in west Tel Abyad countryside in northern Al-Raqqah yesterday.

The sneaking groups set fire to several posts, blew up a regime post and seized weapons.

The attack left three members of Self-defence Forces and four regime soldier dead, amid reports of desecrating the bodies of those members. In addition communication was lost with a member of Self-defence Forces and other regime soldiers.

In this context, Self-defence Forces attempted to reach the attacked sites to retrieve the bodies, but Turkish forces prevented them from doing so by opening fire on them, forcing them to withdraw back.
