Following Turkish refusal to participate | Russian forces conduct solo patrol in Al-Hasakah countryside
Al-Hasakah province: Four Russian armored vehicles, escorted by two helicopters, headed towards the crossing in Shirak village in Al-Hasakah countryside to conduct a joint patrol with the Turkish forces, but the Turkish side refused to participate despite a meeting between both sides at the village gate.
However, Russian forces conducted a solo patrol in Al-Darbasiyah countryside before returning to the set off point at Al-Qamishly Airport.
On October 14, SOHR sources reported that the Russian and Turkish forces conducted a joint military patrol, consisting of eight vehicles for each side, accompanied by two Russian helicopters.
The patrol set off from the crossing of Gharib village in the eastern countryside of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) and reached Bandarkhan village in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, and then the Russian patrol returned to the point from which it set off, while the Turkish vehicles headed towards the Turkish interior.
