Military escalation | Turkish forces fire artillery shells on villages in Al-Hasakah causing displacement of civilians

Al-Hasakah province: Turkish forces stationed in “Peace Spring” area fired artillery shells on Dardara and Um Al-Kaif Villages and the area between Saikar Al-Ahimar and Tel Tawil Villages in Tel Tamr countryside, where several houses of civilians were destroyed and residents started displacing from villages near the frontlines towards further and safer villages. However, no casualties were reported.

Turkish forces escalated their attacks on areas in northern and eastern Syria, violating international norms and disregarding human rights conventions.

Yesterday, a civilian in his 50s and an eight-year old girl were injured under artillery shelling by Turkish forces and their proxies on Um Al-Kaif Village in Tel Tamr north western of Al-Hasakah, and they were taken to a hospital to receive proper medication.
