Escalated attacks | Turkish warplanes and drones target infrastructure in northern and eastern Syria and about 30 people killed and injured

Turkish forces in northern and eastern Syria have escalated their attacks by land and air, violating all international agreements. Since yesterday evening until now, the area has witnessed intensive raids by Turkish warplanes and drones, targeting the countryside of Al-Hasakah, Al-Raqqah, Ain Al-Arab (Kobani), Manbij in the eastern countryside of Aleppo and the northern countryside of Aleppo where Kurdish forces and regime forces are deployed, resulting in many casualties.
The Turkish forces are focusing their attacks on infrastructure, targeting water, gas and electricity stations, in addition to clinics, bakeries and checkpoints, especially in the countryside of Al-Hasakah and Ain Al-Arab (Kobani).
In Al-Hasakah, eight workers were killed at a gas station in Al-Suwaydiyah in Al-Qamishli countryside, north of Al-Hasakah, as a result of a Turkish airstrike, and 15 civilians were injured and taken to the hospital, with expectations of an increase in the number of the killed due to critical cases.
Meanwhile in Ayn Al-Arab (Kobani), a journalist of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” was killed yesterday, as a result of a Turkish drone targeting.
In Tel Rifaat in the northern countryside of Aleppo, the death toll of civilians rose to four, including a child, as a result of a Turkish artillery shelling targeted civilian houses at night.
Today morning, Turkish forces resumed their attacks through drones, targeting Awayjah checkpoint near the train station inAl- Qamishli, a site in Harmi Sheikho village, in Amuda city, in addition to a bakery in Amuda city in Al-Qamishli countryside, and other strikes targeted vital sites in Maabadah town in Al-Hasakah countryside and a power station in Ayn Al-Arab (Kobani).

The Turkish drones have carried out 110 airstrikes since beginning of 2024, where 35 people were killed and more than 37 combatants and 18 civilians including three women and three children were injured.

The fatalities are distributed as follows:
28 members of military formations operating in SDF-controlled areas.
Three regime soldiers.
Four civilians including a woman.
Unidentified person in northern Aleppo countryside.
