Ongoing security chaos in Daraa | Gang releases young man and another gang demands 30,000 USD to release another young man

Daraa province: A kidnapping gang released a young man from Deir Al-Bukht town in northern Daraa countryside, a month after having been kidnapped near the Lebanon border while he was on his way to Lebanon.
The release occurred after negotiations with the kidnappers over a ransom of 15,000 USD.
According to reliable SOHR sources, another young man is still kidnapped by another gang, where the kidnappers demand a ransom of 30,000 USD for his release, but his family is unable to pay the money.
It is worth noting that the border region between Syria and Lebanon has witnessed an increase in kidnappings and extortion of families, amid ongoing security chaos, increasing activity of gangs and deteriorating economic conditions.
On October 2, SOHR sources reported that unidentified gunmen kidnapped a civilian from Inkhil City from his workplace in an agricultural project eastern of Al-Dally Village northern of Daraa, and his fate remains unknown. The family of the civilian hasn’t been contacted by the gang.
