With IED | Attack on patrol leaves three members of military intelligence injured in Daraa city

Daraa province: Three members of the Military Intelligence Division of the regime forces were injured, after the explosion of an IED planted by unknown people in the path of a patrol near Al-Hamamah roundabout in Daraa city. The two members were taken to Al-Sharq Hospital, while the third member was taken to Tishreen Military Hospital in Damascus to receive treatment, amid security tension in the city.
This explosion comes in light the ongoing security chaos in Daraa province.

Since early 2024, SOHR activists have documented 293 incidents of security disorder in Daraa province, which left 285 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 85 civilians, including eight women and 19 children.

• 88 regime soldiers, members and collaborators with regime security services.

• 18 men accused of “involving in drug business.”

• Six members of the Russian-backed 8th Brigade.

• 17 ISIS members, including a commander.

• 59 members of local factions.

• Nine persons collaborating with the Lebanese Hezbollah.

• A regime dissident colonel.

• Two unidentified persons.
