Regime forces fired heavy artillery shells on the vicinity of the Turkish observation post in Ma’arrat Al-Na’asan village in eastern Idlib, which is located on the frontlines with regime forces and their proxies.

Similarly, regime forces fired heavy artillery shells on the vicinity of Taftanaz in eastern Idlib countryside, but no casualties were reported.

This comes in light of ongoing escalation that “Putin-Erdogan” area has experienced since mid-October.

On October 16, SOHR sources reported that Russian fighter jets committed a massacre against civilians that left five civilians including a child killed and 30 others including 14 children severely injured, in an attack on a sawmill, a furniture workshop and an olive presser at the outskirts of Idlib City.
