Disputes over smuggling earnings | Clashes erupted between factions of the “National Army” in Ras Al-Ain

Al-Hasakah province: Armed clashes erupted between gunmen of the “National Army” with machineguns and heavy weapons in the centre of Ras Al-Ain City in “Peace Spring” area.

The clashes erupted between members of “Al-Hamzat Division” and members of “Al-Rahman Legion” due to disputes over earnings from smuggling operations, where one member was killed and three others were injured.

On October 12, the civil police of the Turkish forces raided several houses in Ras Al-Ain city, which is held by the Turkish forces and their proxies, within “Peace Spring” areas north-west of Al-Hasakah, and arrested five gunmen of “Malak Shah” faction, on charges of drug trading.
