Military reinforcement | Over 190 Turkish vehicles enter north Syria region in two weeks

In the past two weeks, Turkish forces sent considerable military reinforcement to areas in northern Syria, where convoys of vehicles, equipment and soldiers arrived in areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in this period.

The Turkish reinforcement coincided with preparations by Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham to launch a large-scale military operation against regime forces, with the aim of taking control of more areas in Latakia, Hama Idlib countryside and Aleppo city and areas in west Aleppo countryside. However, the Turkish regime strongly condemns starting new military actions in that region.

On the other hand, regime forces sent large military reinforcement to frontlines with Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham in Aleppo and Idlib countryside.

This development coincides with diligent efforts by Turkish forces to prevent expected military confrontation between HTS and regime forces, where the Turkish regime sees that opening new frontlines could lead to catastrophic repercussions affecting negatively on the security situation in that region.

In the period between September 27 and October 10, Turkish forces sent over 190 military vehicles, including armoured vehicles, tanks, personnel carriers and trucks carrying military and logistical supplies and ammunitions.

The recently- arrived reinforcement was distributed to strategic frontlines in Idlib and Aleppo countryside.

The recent hectic movements by Turkish forces come as a part of their efforts to entrench their military presence in north Syria through sending additional forces and equipments to support observation posts and participate in military operations, along with raising combat readiness.
