Ongoing efforts to entrench military presence | Turkish military convoy arrives in base in northern Aleppo

Aleppo province: A military patrol of Turkish forces comprising 13 vehicles crossed into Syria this evening, via Bab Al-Salama crossing on the border with Turkey, and headed to the Turkish base in Maryamin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo in “Olive Branch” area.

According to SOHR sources, the convoy carried logistical and military supplies. This coincides with the ongoing efforts by Turkish forces to entrench their presence in that region.

On October 6, a military convoy of Turkish forces comprising 12 military armoured vehicles entered through Bab Al-Salama Crossing in Aleppo countryside on borders with Turkey and headed towards the checkpoints in the scientific research area in A’zaz countryside within “Euphrates Shield” area.
