Fighting between cousins | Eight people killed and injured in town in Manbij countryside

Aleppo province: Violent clashes with light and medium weapons. erupted between cousins from “Al-Bakara” tribe in Al-Arimah town in Manbij countryside in areas controlled by “Manbij Military Council”, due to a quarrel that turned into fighting between cousins, which resulted in the death of one person and the injury of seven others, including women, who were taken to a hospital for treatment. The clashes were accompanied by a state of tension and chaos.

Accordingly, the number of infightings which followed disputes over retaliation and family and tribal disagreements in areas controlled by the Autonomous Administration has reached 122 since early 2024. According to SOHR statistics, these infightings left 79 people, including four women and three children, dead and 240 others injured; they are distributed regionally as follows:

Deir Ezzor: 71 infightings left 27 persons, including a woman and two children, dead and 119 others injured.

Al-Raqqah: 26 infightings left 24 people, including a child and two women, dead and 64 others injured.

Aleppo: Nine infightings left seven civilians dead and 26 others, including an Asayish member, injured.

Al-Hasakah: 15 infightings left 20 persons, including a woman, dead and 31 others injured.
