Israeli forces escalated military activity on Syrian territory by carrying out airstrikes and ground attacks targeting positions of the regime and residential areas, to assassinate figures and destroy machineries of Iranian militias coinciding with the Israeli military escalation on Lebanon.

The Israeli airstrikes focused on borders between Syria and Lebanon targeting legal and illegal crossings to prevent the Lebanese “Hezbollah” from transporting weapons from Syria to Lebanon, leaving civilians killed and injured and properties destroyed.
