Including Syrian commander | Three members of ISIS cell arrested in security operation in Al-Raqqah city

Al-Raqqah province: SOHR sources confirmed that three members of an ISIS cell, including a Syrian commander, were arrested in a security operation carried out, two days ago, by special security units of the Internal Security Forces “Asayish”, with support from the intelligence of the ‘International Coalition, in Al-Raqqah city.
The sources confirmed that the arrested individuals are accused of carrying out assassination operations in SDF-held areas against civilians and combatants, where they were taken to a security centre.
Despite the ongoing security campaigns conducted by the Internal Security Forces, SDF and International Coalition Forces, ISIS cells continue to be active in north-eastern Syria, increasing the security challenges in the region.
