Similar to Iranian militias | Fourth Division moves headquarters and withdraw from Euphrates line in Deir Ezzor
Deir Ezzor province: The Fourth Division that is led by Maher Al-Assad the brother of the head of the Syrian regime, withdrew from several military checkpoints in Al-Bolail and Mohassan Towns near the line of Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor countryside, and moved the military headquarters to be replaced by members of the regime’s 17th Division.
The withdrawing forces headed towards the Syrian Desert.
A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported that several centres in Deir Ezzor and Al-Mayadeen witnessed mobilization of Syrian and non-Syrian Iranian militias to move headquarters and warehouses with their contents, and to move prisoners to different temporary prisons, in fear of an attack by Israeli and “unidentified” warplanes, while the militias only kept a few number of guards.
On the same context, Syrian and non-Syrian groups of the “Iranian Revolutionary Guards” moves contents of weapon depots from centres of Hezbollah in Al-Huwaika neighbourhood and Huwayjat Saqr to near the comprehensive clinics and Al-Hajana suburb in Al-Homaidiya neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor City within areas of the regime and Iranian militias.
Moreover, trucks and “Pick Up” 4×4 cars transported the weapons from warehouses.
The Iranian militias took shelter in residential areas using civilians as human shields, causing fear and panic among civilians.
