To reduce tension between Israel and groups backed by Lebanese Hezbollah | Russian forces establish two observation posts near occupied Syrian Golan

Russian forces established two observation posts in the western plains area in Bir Al-Ajam town and Bariqah town in the western countryside of Al-Qunaitrah near the border with the occupied Syrian Golan, to reduce tension between Israel and groups backed by the Lebanese “Hezbollah” after the major escalation between the two parties.
This brings the number of Russian posts deployed in the areas adjacent to the occupied Syrian Golan to 17.
In the past months, Israel has begun opening corridors in the occupied Syrian Golan and detonating minefields several times, along the ceasefire line, in parallel with the escalation of targeting and the arrival of elite forces from Iranian militias to southern Syria.
