Arresting wheat smuggler | Self-Defence Forces raid Al-Junainah crossing in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: A patrol of the “Self-Defence” Forces raided the “illegal” Al-Junainah crossing in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor and arrested a person working in smuggling wheat from “SDF” areas to regime-held areas.
The crossing operates daily from 6 to 10 a.m, and goods and humanitarian cases are transported between “SDF” areas and the Syrian regime.
On September 21, armed clashes erupted on the banks of the Euphrates River, between “SDF” members stationed in Al-Shannan village on the one hand, and others from the regime forces stationed in Al-Qouriyah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor on the other hand, after the “Fourth Division” confiscated about 400 barrels of diesel, which were transported through river smuggling lines from SDF-held areas towards areas held by the regime and militias loyal to it.
