“De-escalation” zone | Regime soldier shot dead by sniper of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” and regime forces attack five frontlines within “Putin-Erdogan” area

A regime soldier was shot dead by sniper of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room on the frontline of the 46th Regiment in western Aleppo countryside within “Putin-Erdogan” area.

 

Meanwhile, regime forces fired heavy artillery shells on the villages of Al-Sheikh Suleiman, Kafr Ta’al, Kafr Nouran and Al-Wastah in western Aleppo countryside, but no casualties were reported.

 

Similarly, a regime kamikaze drone attacked the vicinity of Al-Nayrab town in eastern Idlib countryside, amid ongoing flight by a reconnaissance drone over “Putin-Erdogan” area.

 

“Putin-Erdogan” area have witnessed exchange of attacks between regime forces and “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room factions.

 

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 300 operations in the “de-escalation zone,” including attacks by ground forces, infiltration operations, gunfire by snipers, bombardment, clashes and kamikaze drone attacks, which left 330 combatants and civilians dead. In addition, these operations left over 126 combatants, including a Turkish soldier, and 147 civilians, including four women and 28 children, injured.

 

The fatalities can be distributed as follows:

 

  • 29 civilians, including 13 children and two women.

 

  • 211 members of regime forces, including 24 officers.

 

  • 73 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

 

  • Five members of “Ansar Al-Islam” faction.

 

  • Three members of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”

 

  • One member of “Jaysh Al-Ahrar.”

 

  • Two jihadists, including a jihadist of Turkish descent.

 

  • A member of “Al-Hamzah” Division.

 

  • Three members of “Al-Sham Corps.”

 

  • One member of the “Public Resistance” which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room.

 

  • One member of the “Thowwar Al-Sham” Battalion which operates under the banner of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operations room.
