Homs province: SOHR sources have reported that local authorities set free two young men from Al-Rastan city in northern Homs countryside, after they had been kidnapped about a month and a half ago.
Reliable SOHR sources confirmed that armed clashes erupted between members of a patrol and members of the kidnapping gang in Al-Ghanto village in northern Homs, which left a member of the gang dead and two members of the patrol injured.
Following the clashes, Al-Ghanto village witnessed a state of high alert, where several patrols of political security deployed in the area, searching for members of the gang, some of whom managed to escape to an unknown destination, while three individuals were arrested.
