In fear of explosions | Iranian militias prohibit the use of communication devices in Deir Ezzor
Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists reported that commanders of Iranian militias prohibited members in Deir Ezzor and its countryside from using communication devices especially inside the military headquarters, while transporting between Iraq and Syria and between Iraq and Lebanon and inside weapons transport vehicles.
These instructions came in fear of potential explosions of these devices such as what happened in Lebanon and some areas in Syria, following the cyber-attack by Israel that caused the explosion of thousands of communication devices “pagers” of the Lebanese Hezbollah, where thousands were injured and dozens were killed in Lebanon in addition to the injury of 22 others inside Syria.
This came after a meeting that was held in headquarters of operations of the Iranian “Revolutionary Guards” militia in Al-Omal neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor City that included several military commanders of the Iranian “Revolutionary Guards” militia, the Lebanese and Iraqi Hezbollah and the Afghani “Fatimyon” militia.
