Uncertainty surrounds the death of unidentified person following burning of his car on the road to Damascus airport
Damascus province: SOHR sources have reported that a man died in his car, after having been burned for unknown reasons on the road to Damascus international airport.
The car was seen catching fire on 05:00 am, while ambulances hurried to the site of the car which belonged to a person working for the Iraqi Hezbollah that owns several headquarters and rest houses in that area.
However, the identity of the man remains unknown and it is not known yet if he belonged to the Iraqi Hezbollah or not.
SOHR sources have also confirmed that they did not hear any loud explosions in that region today.
SOHR sources had reported the arrival of several members of the Iraqi Hezbollah to hospitals in Damascus and Rif Dimashq, after having been injured by the explosion of their telecommunication devices.
It is worth noting that 22 people, whose identities remain unknown, were injured in Damascus and Rif Dimashq provinces following the explosion of telecommunication devices “pagers” belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah due to a cyberattack by Israel.
