After ste*aling her money and gold jewelry | Woman strangled to de*ath in camp in northern Idlib countryside,

Idlib province: Unidentified individuals strangled a woman to death in Deir Hassan camps in northern Idlib countryside within HTS-held areas, after they had stolen her money and gold jewelry. The perpetrators managed to escape.

This comes in light of ongoing security chaos in all zones of influence across Syria.

Since early 2024, SOHR has documented 54 incidents of security disorder in areas controlled by HTS and opposition factions in Idlib city and surrounding villages. These incidents left 45 people dead and 65 others injured. The fatalities are distributed as follows;

• 36 civilians, including five children and seven women.

• A member of the Turkistan Islamic Party.

• Four HTS members.

• A member of Al-Sham Corps.

• Three unidentified persons.
