Afrin | Residents stage demonstration expressing rejection of opening crossings and opposing normalization of relations with Syrian regime

Aleppo province: Residents participated in a mass demonstration in Afrin city in “Olive Branch” area, expressing their rejection of opening crossings and opposing normalization of relations with Syrian regime.

The demonstrators called for lifting the Turkish guardianship imposed on the revolution, restoring the military decision by opening frontlines with regime forces.

It is worth noting that residents continue to staged demonstrations and protests in “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” areas, which are controlled by Turkish forces and their proxy factions, expressing their rejection of the Russian-sponsored rapprochement by Syrian and Turkish regimes.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that residents of Al-Bab City in eastern Aleppo countryside in “Euphrates Shield” areas went out on protests rejecting the normalization with the regime and the opening of Abo Al-Zandin Crossing that separates regime-held areas and areas of factions of the National Army.

The protesters raised banners that read “Erdogan tricked the revolution but can’t conquer it” and “either normalization or retrieval of military decision and victory.”
