Assassination attempt | Gunmen open fire on ex-commander of local factions in Al-Bokamal

Deir Ezzor province: An ex-commander of a local faction was injured in an armed attack by unknown gunmen on a motorcycle in Al-Sukariyah area in Al-Bokamal city. The man was taken to the hospital.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a man was killed and another was injured seriously and taken to the hospital in clashes between gunmen of “Al-Borahma” tribe and others of “Al-Ekaydat” tribe in Al-Duwayr town which is controlled by regime forces and Iranian-backed militias in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The clashes coincided with growing tension and security disorder in the region, amid appeals to elders and dignitaries to intervene and break up the clashes.
