Ongoing violence | Nearly 140 people killed in all zones of influence across Syria since early September

Human losses are documented on a daily basis in all zones of influence across in different circumstances, because of the escalating violence, including military operations, assassinations and explosions of war remnants.

 

Since early September, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 138 people, both civilians and combatants, in Syria; they are distributed as follows:

 

  • 41 civilians, including six women and five children.

 

  • 17 individuals working for Iranian-backed militias, including non-Syrians.

 

  • Five members of the National Defence Forces.

 

  • One smuggler.

 

  • 40 members of regime forces, including seven officers and three members of the political security service.

 

  • Four border guards affiliated to the “National Army.”

 

  • Three members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham.

 

  • Two members of the Internal Security Forces.

 

  • Six members of the “National Army.”

 

  • A member of “Jaysh Al-Nasr.”

 

  • Six civilians were killed in Israeli attacks.

 

  • Four unidentified persons.

 

  • A Kurdish fighter.

 

  • A gunman.

 

  • A commander working for the Lebanese Hezbollah and his escort.

 

  • A member of an ISIS cell.

 

  • Two members of Syrian Democratic Forces.

 

  • A member of a local factions.

 

The Syrian Observatory renews its commitment to continue monitoring and documenting all the developments on the ground in Syria including, the massacres, violations, war crimes and crimes against humanity committed against the Syrian people, as well as publishing all relevant statistics and causalities of such heinous acts, and hope to help all the ongoing efforts of bringing the perpetrators to special international courts, so that they do not escape justice for the crimes they committed against the people of Syria.
