New round of attacks | Russian fighter jets execute several airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in the Syrian desert

SOHR sources have reported that Russian fighter jets executed several airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in mountains in Palmyra- Al-Sukhnah desert in eastern Homs countryside and Al-Rasafah desert in southern Al-Tabaqah city in western Al-Raqqah countryside. However, no casualties have been reported.

SOHR has documented six attacks by ISIS members on positions of regime forces and their proxy militias in the Syrian desert in less than two weeks. Those attacks left 15 people dead; they are distributed as follows:

Hama: Three attacks left ten combatants, including three members of the National Defence Forces, dead.

Al-Raqqah: Three attacks left five combatants, including two members of the National Defence Forces, and a shepherd dead.
