In conjunction with flight of warplanes | Headquarters of Lebanese “Hezbollah” targeted in Deir Ezzor countryside
Deir Ezzor province: Yesterday evening, violent explosions were heard resulting from the targeting of an empty military headquarters of the Lebanese “Hezbollah” between Hatlah town and Al-Salihiyah village, within the areas controlled by the regime forces and Iranian militias in the Deir Ezzor countryside, coinciding with the flight of warplanes. However, no causalities were reported.
It is noted that the headquarters is about three kilometres away from the American base in “Koniko” gas field in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
On September 5, SOHR reported that an unknown drone attacked a truck (a refrigerated vehicle) near military headquarters of Iranian-backed militias in the vicinity of Al-Bukamal city in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside near Syria-Iraq border. The attack left the driver of the truck, who was of non-Syrian nationality and a civilian dead and several injured.
It is worth noting that most of the headquarters of Iranian-backed militias are spread throughout residential areas.
