Israeli strike | Two people killed in targeting of car on Damascus-Al-Qunaitrah road

Al-Qunaitrah province: An Israeli airstrike targeted a car east of Khan Arnabah town on Damascus-Al-Qunaitrah road, killing two people, one of whom was a military figure who was inside, and destroying the car, while ambulances and fire trucks headed to the targeted site, coinciding with attempts by the regime forces’ air defences to intercept the Israeli missiles.

SOHR documented 65 attacks in 2024: 48 airstrikes and 17 rocket attacks by ground forces, during which Israel targeted several positions in Syria, destroying nearly 140 targets, including buildings, weapons and ammunitions warehouses, headquarters, centres and vehicles. These strikes killed 210 combatants and injured 142 others. The fatalities are distributed as follows:
* 24 Iranian members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
* 43 members of the Lebanese Hezbollah.
* 18 Iraqi persons.
* 57 Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen.
* 17 Iranian-backed non-Syrian militiamen.
* 46 regime soldiers.
* Five unidentified people.
In addition, those attacks left 23 civilians, including a little girl and four women, dead and nearly 36 other civilians injured.
The attacks are distributed regionally as follows:
* Damascus and Rif Dimashq: 24 attacks.
* Daraa: 16 attacks.
* Homs: Ten attacks.
* Al-Qunaitrah: Seven attacks.
* Tartous: Three attack.
