Syrian desert | Intensive Russian airstrikes target locations where “ISIS” hides in

Russian warplanes launched intensive airstrikes on locations where “ISIS” cells are hiding in different areas of the Syrian desert, including the desert of Palmyra and Al-Sukhnah east of Homs, and Jabal Al-Bushri, Al-Tabni and Maadan in the western desert of Deir Ezzor, without these strikes being able to cause causalities in the ranks of “ISIS”.
Yesterday, Russian warplanes launched airstrikes on different areas in the Syrian desert that is believed to be used by “ISIS” to launch attacks against regime forces. The raids were concentrated in the deserts of Palmyra and Al-Sukhnah in the eastern countryside of Homs, Al-Bushri hills, the desert of Maadan and Al-Tebni in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, in addition to the desert of Al-Rusafah in the southern countryside of Al-Raqqah.
This comes in light of escalating attacks by ISIS members on positions in the Syrian desert, despite the ongoing airstrikes on their hideouts.
